Cradles to Crayons
Cradles to Crayons provides, free of charge, low-income and homeless children from birth to pre-teen the basic essentials they need to be safe, warm, ready to learn, and valued. Cradles to Crayons also creates a foundation for lasting change through the meaningful volunteer opportunities that are provided to thousands of youth and adults each year.
Since its founding in 2002, more than 75,000 local children-in-need have received Cradles to Crayons packages. This has been made possible by a grassroots network of more than 20,000 youth and adults who have shared their time, treasures and talent to fill the hundreds of requests that are received every week, and a distribution network of over 300 social service agencies who deliver our packages to the clients they serve.
Thousands of kids, every year, donate their treasures, hold product drives and work a "shift" at one of the Giving Factory warehouses. In the doing, Cradles to Crayons'kids experience enduring understanding and learn lessons in leadership, social justice, service and the power of giving – real world, "tangible philanthropy".

Coprodeli USA aids Peruvian families by providing for fundamental needs, promoting education and job training, and developing strong self-sustaining community programs. Coprodeli operates over 140 programs that serve more than 100,000 children and their families annually in the most impoverished communities in Peru. Over 90% of every dollar raised goes directly to helping those who need it most.
More than 54 percent of Peruvians live below the poverty line. They are forced to live without the basic necessities of life such as running water, electricity, nourishment, and education. Of the 3.8 million Peruvians who live in extreme poverty, more than 2.1 million are children. Coprodeli works to not only help those in immediate need but also to combat the root causes of poverty.
Coprodeli serves the needs of Peru's children through a variety of educational programs including ten schools and libraries, two orphanages, daytime outreach centers, Mundobus classroom on wheels and the Padrino Program, in which individual children are sponsored through donations of $30 a month, which cover the costs of the sponsored child's educational and nourishment needs. Over 1,100 children per day participate in these educational programs.

Companions in Courage "CiC" abides by the mantra: “No child in the fight for life or health should ever have to go through it alone.” CiC provides courage, friendship, compassion and support to children and families who are overcoming illness and life-threatening obstacles.
Founded by NHL Hall of Famer Pat LaFontaine in 1997, the Companions in Courage Foundation has built interactive communication centers and playrooms aptly named “Lion’s Dens” in 13 hospitals throughout North America. Through innovative communications tools, Lion’s Dens’ replace the isolation of a hospital with a connection to family, friends and celebrities.
In addition, Companions in Courage, in collaboration with Microsoft, distributes hundreds of Lion’s Dens mobile Xbox 360 kiosks loaded with video games, TV shows and movies that enable children who are unable to leave their hospital bed to play with other children and their heroes in a safe, online community.

Camp Okizu
Camp Okizu
Okizu is a nonprofit organization that operates Camp Okizu, a summer camp and peer support program for children with cancer and their families. Founded in 1982, its mission is to help all members of families affected by childhood cancer to heal through peer support, respite, mentoring, and recreational program.
For many participants, Camp Okizu is their only opportunity each year to connect with others who are deeply familiar with their unique circumstances. Okizu helps them develop a support network of people who understand what they have experienced, and the challenges they continue to face.
Okizu’s services are unique, operating the only oncology camp of its kind in northern California. Its programs focus heavily on youth development, strengthening families, and providing respite during times of hardship.
Due to the financial burden that often accompanies a cancer diagnosis, all of Okizu’s programs are offered free-of-charge.
